Truphonic Recording is a Grammy winning, professional recording studio built exclusively to serve recording artists, music professionals, major film studios and voice over talent from around the world in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. It is also home to one of the world’s premier mastering engineers, Vlado Meller and Vlado Meller Mastering. Designed by renowned studio designer Wes Lachot, Truphonic is a two room, luxurious, private 3000 square foot facility discreetly located just one mile from downtown Charleston.

Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Elliott Elsey has become over the last decade one of the music and film industries’ best audio engineers. Elliott is a graduate of the Porter-Gaud School, he majored in Piano at Florida State University then got his Masters in Music Production from Middle Tennessee State. After a couple years assisting and engineering in Nashville at multiple award winning studios, Elliott returned to Charleston in 2014 and joined the team at Truphonic Recording. The pinnacle of that career to date is Ranky Tanky’s 2022 Grammy for “Good Time”.
Elliott Elsey’s music talent and broad skill sets are reflected in his credits and client list which include Daryl Hall, Ranky Tanky, Caroline Jones, The Tide Brothers, Dangermuffin, Quentin Baxter, Charlton Singleton, Elise Testone, Eddie Bush, Stop Light Observations, Congress The Band and the Charleston Jazz Orchestra.
In Film and ADR Elliott’s credits include working with almost every studio in Hollywood including Netflix, HBO, DreamWorks SKG, CBS, ABC, TNT and Disney with talent including Bill Murray, Will Patton, Danny McBride, John Goodman, Eric Roberts, Walton Goggins, Edi Patterson, Adam DeVine, Dennis Haysbert, Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline and many more.
